Cork Buses

Cork has a well-developed bus network connecting residential areas to the city centre and CES Cork.

Bus Companies and Services

Most city bus services in Cork are operated by Bus Éireann under the Transport for Ireland (TFI) network.
Bus Éireann services in Cork are clean, safe, and run frequently throughout the day.

Most homestays are located approximately 25–45 minutes from the school by bus.

On your first day, your homestay will explain:

• Which bus you should take

• Where your nearest bus stops are

• How to get to and from CES Cork

Tickets for Groups

All students and Group Leaders will receive a weekly travel pass (Leap Card).
This pass allows travel:

• Between school and homestays

• Around the city

• To venues and locations included in the social activity programme

The weekly pass will cover all bus services used by students and groups in Cork.

Bus timetables and route information for Cork City services can be found on the Transport for Ireland (TFI) website.
These include route planning tools and real-time service updates.
