The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most famous natural landmarks, rising high above the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast. Stretching for several kilometres, the cliffs offer amazing views of the sea, rocky coastline, and, on clear days, the Aran Islands in the distance. The fresh sea air and powerful waves make this a dramatic and memorable place to visit.
Visitors can walk along the safe cliff paths, stop at viewing points, and take photos of the incredible scenery. The visitor centre explains how the cliffs were formed and the wildlife that lives there, including seabirds that nest on the rocks. It’s a great place to experience Ireland’s wild natural beauty up close.
